My girlfriend and I live together and spend a lot of time together, yet our periods never synched (it's been a year and a half). What makes people not synch up? Can we do anything to make it so that we do?

While my fiance and I don't have our periods together, we have been experiencing a different sort of thing. About a week before I get my period, she will pms for me. Meaning she has the cramps, moodswings, headaches, etc. while I have absolutely nothing. Of course, this isn't very fair to her seeing as she has already gone through it once in a month for herself. I wish there was a way she didn't have to go through my pms, but we don't exactly know how to change it.
