ive finished my antibiotics for my BV and am now using diflucan to treat the YI, but of course, i got my period. its on its last leg, but im sill using tampons because it can get huuuge "whooooooooosh"es of blood and then i go through everywhere. so my question is..
my tampons havent been going up very far, they get kind of uncomfortable at a point. is this because of the YI? should i be concerned?
(also, i'm doing 3 treatments of diflucan, did my first-waited 72 hours-JUST took my 2nd-and in 3 days will be my last treatment, since they are recurring)

thank youuu!
(also, i know...YI + tampon = bad, but its just a personal choice i'm making! )

I'd guess the discomfort is due to the infection. When you have a yeast infection, your vagina is filled with small cuts, and putting a dry tampon in there is going to irritate those cuts. Use the lowest absorbency you can stand to minimize this if you really have to use tampons at all.
