I have a sort of confusing question. about a week ago...i was sure that i ovulated. i had all the usual signs. the slight cramping, eggwhite discharge. and it went away for a few days. but just yesterday i started feeling like this again. and my period is a week away. It feels like I'm ovulating a second time. This is really strange and has never happened to me before, and i have a pretty regular cycle. Any thoughts?

It could have been that your body was preparing to ovulate, but then somethign happened to postpone it, so now you are actually ovulating now.

A lot of times you can 'feel' like you're ovulating, but you really aren't. are you on any form of birth control? because if you are, and you're taking it properly, you aren't ovulating. Having thick discharge doesn't always mean ovulation, and neither does sligh cramping. I wouldn't really worry about it. But if you're that curious you can always try some natural family planning methods to chart your temp to see when you're really ovulating.

A new study was done that discovered that some women ovulate more then once a cycle blowing all medical texts out of the water. I wouldnt be able to point you to a link on the story as it was a few months ago I saw it but if anyone knows where to find it I would be interested in reading it again.
