can uti's/kidney infections be a sign of pregnancy?

They generally meant that bacteria have gotten into the urinary tract. This can happen for any number of reasons, most unrelated to pregnancy.

You're probably not pregnant then. Folks get nauseated for all sorts of reasons. I'm home from work for it, today. :)

Kidney infections can send folks to the ER. If you really might have one, you might consider visiting the doctor.

I had a UTI during my pregnancy, but I don't think that it is a sign of pregnancy.

i had a UTI and had the same question. my doctor told me that although they can happen during pregnancy, it usually won't happen until the later months. this happens because the baby is almost to it's full birth size and the placenta is pushing on the bladder. UTI's aren't a sign of a pregnancy starting.
