my parents have a history with thyroid and both have hypo. i've been tested several times and always came up negative.
Normally never get sick but i recently started taking birth control again and incidentally I've been having throat problems as well. mainly just trouble swallowing. otherwise i don;t feel sick and this has been going on for weeks after I started taking the BC. Am I just sick or can bc do anything like this?

Date: 2009-10-29 05:48 pm (UTC)If it's been going on for weeks, either it's something with the HBC (such as tipping you over; the estrogen interferes with thyroid hormone) or you're sick enough to need to see the doctor... I haven't heard of trouble-swallowing being a common HBC adjustment thing, though there's always a first time. I have heard of trouble-swallowing being a thyroid thing, though.
