One way to keep the cost down for Preseed is to use it topically, rather than with the applicators. I don't think they sell just the applicators and the directions say not to reuse them, but I ran out of the applicators well before the tube was empty. Not that any of this helped me conceive, but it was worth spending the extra money for a special lube both for peace of mind and because it hasn't caused any infections, unlike most of the other lubes I've ever used.
