I've known about diaphrams and their pros and cons for a while, but I recently heard a few people mention cervical caps and I'm intrigued and have a few questions for anyone who's used one or knows about them.

how easy are to use?
how long can they be kept in place for?
Do you have to use spermicide with them? (I've read on some sites that they work better without it)
If used correctly, are they affective?

Although I'm a faily happy IUD user, I'm thinking about changing to the cap because I like the idea of having normal periods again (i.e. not mega heavy).

So, any info would be greatly appreciated!
