Hi everyone,

I have a question I hope you can help me with. Last night (Monday), myself and a guy performed mutual masturbation on each other. Both of us got pre-cum on our fingers. Both of us had our fingers inside my vagina within a few minutes. There was no actual ejaculation, and no penile penetration at all.

I asked him, and he said his last ejaculation was on Sunday morning. I figured that's long enough for any sperm to wash off his penis head, eliminating any sperm in his pre-cum, but I'm still nervous because I'm ovulating this week.

I went to the pharmacy this morning and got Plan B (less than 12 hours after this happened), and now I'm just waiting to take the second pill tonight.

Do I still have reason to be as worried as I am? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Thanks so much.

Since there was no ejaculation or penile penetration, you have very little to be concerned about. :)

Just to clarify, the concept isn't that sperm will remain on the penis head (it would die there very quickly), but that it would remain in the urethra.

Anyway, the risk of pregnancy is unbelievably low, between the fact that there was no penile penetration with ejaculation in the vagina and the Plan B.

Sperm dies very quickly; it can only stay alive for a certain amount of time inside the vagina (a few days), but outside, like drying on your hand, the sperm can be dead in as little as 10 minutes. You're most likely okay. Also, preejaculate generally has little to no sperm in it as it is.
