I think that it would be far more likely for a person to be diabetic and not know it, have a high concentration of sugar in their urine and then risk giving themself a yeast infection.
I wonder what proportion of menstrual cup users even have mercury fillings anyway. The only people I know who have those silver coloured fillings are, at the youngest, in their fifties. I'm also pretty sure that if mercury fillings are dangerous, they shouldn't still be in people's mouths.
and to top it all off- burning coal to produce electricity releases a lot of mercury and we still have lead paint in our houses. these are things that i see as more worrying.
