Hey VPers! I've looked through the memories or whatnot and I haven't found exactly what I need/want information about. So here goes!

I was on the phone with a guy friend of mine (we both have interest in each other, romantically and physically, but none of this really matters) and he says that birth control takes up to a year to wear off. Now, I know that it doesn't, and he made me bet him that if he was right, i'd go off my birth control (I take Yasmin - near perfect user, so I don't have a week-week and a half-long period every three weeks), and that if I was right, I'd stay on it. Now honestly, Im taking it whether he's right or not, because my periods are still heavy, but not as long (thank god). Anyway, how long is it really "effective" and take to not get pregnant? I am just quite curious, since I asked my mom (using vague questions), and she said she wasn't happy after 3 months of trying to get pregnant with my brother, and she's (in her words) a fertile turtle. Now, I'm 18 (almost 19) and even though I am an adult, I'm not financially stable (damn you economy and lack of jobs!), and am NOT ready for a kid. I want a life and stuff first.

Number two:
Same said interest wants to try anal sex with me. Now I am completely against this. My ex tried to do it a couple of times by doing it on "accident" (we were doing it doggy-style and he pulled out and slipped it into my ass) and it hurt like hell and continued to hurt afterwards. I am really against it, but he is really pushing the anal sex. I'm almost considering cutting it off between the two of us over this, but I don't want to, since I like him too much otherwise. Can someone give me some clue on how bad it actually really hurts? I've just been having vaginal sex, losing my virginity back in August, except for those couple times my ex slipped. I am extremely sensitive to pain, and I really don't want him to do this, but he keeps pushing it onto me.
