SEX PAIN?!

Question:

I'm a 20 year old girl.
Everytime me and my boyfriend have sex, it hurts all the way inside my vagina. It feels like his penis is hitting something.
The thing is, I have never felt that before. He has a nice size penis but it isn't ridiculously long.
I have had sex with other people and it has never hurt me like that. I have even been with one boy in particular who was VERY well endowed and it didn't feel like that.

It doesnt hurt when I'm laying down and he's on top.
But if im on top it hurts and i have to lay forward on him, so were chest to chest. if i sit up, it's horrible, AND if we do "doggie style" it's agony to the point that I have cried.

I told my gyno about it and after she checked it out she told me my cervix was slightly swollen and gave me medication. I stopped having sex, and I used the medication (for 7 days) and didn't have sex for about 2 weeks after to make sure it healed and it still hurts. I dont know what to do!

Has this happened to anyone?!
any tips, or suggestions??

thanks!

I just posted a couple posts down about painful sex. It's 99% likely that he's hitting your cervix. That's what is hurting me now...Let's just wait for a response on how to avoid painful hitting-of-the-cervix, haha.

god i had this happen the time before last during sex. i let out a scream it hurt so bad. it always happens if i lift my pelvis too high and things just line up unfortunately right. partner and i just slow down when things start to hurt or change position when this happens. last time we had to stop sex completely because of how bad it hurt. kinda sucks because some positions we've figured out are more dangerous to run into my cervix than others.

i don't know if there's really a way to avoid it. i certainly haven't found one yet. maybe just try to slow down? try different positions and both of you be conscious of it, i'm sure he doesn't like hurting you :/

Many female-bodied people have sensitive cervixes (cervices? spellchecker likes both!). It's very likely that the angle of this fellow's erection is hitting your cervix in a bad way, causing pain in certain positions. Unless you can change the angle that his penis is at when it's inside you, in those positions (which may or may not be comfortable for him, if it's even possible), you may just have to avoid them. O:(
