You didn't carry to full term meaning what? Just wondering because when I had my son at 36 weeks (vaginal birth), I couldn't hold urine for awhile. I would wake up having to pee and when I moved, it gushed and I couldn't hold it back. It didn't matter if it was a little or a lot. It was really embarrassing. I had to wear pads constantly when in public because it would seep out like discharge.
The doctor said it sometimes happens the first time you give birth when the muscles get stretched and your bladder gets strained. He almost described it like a pulled muscle. It didn't happen with my second child though.
Nothing really does hurt in the beginning stages of a UTI or bladder infection. The pain starts when the problem gets worse. The last UTI I had went on for a few months before I realized that's what it was. By that point, there was blood in my urine and it burned like fire when I peed.
