New cloth pads

It says I need to wash them in hot water a few times to make them absorbent. I have a problem with that because I don't wash clothes in hot water, only warm. Would it be better to boil the pads in a pan?

I don't think the heat is what makes them more absorbent, so any water should be fine. Just wash them with the rest of your clothes when you get a chance.
