I've got two questions. First: My last period was about two weeks late, but I did end up getting it on day 42 of my cycle. This time around, I am on day 45 of my cycle, and I still have not seen the likes of my period. My cycle has always been about 30-32 days long. My boyfriend wants me to go see a doctor, but there haven't been any other symptoms of anything -- my va-jay-jay is feeling fine. Should I be worried or should I just let my body go with its flow?

I'd let it be unless you're having pain or other out of the ordinary symptoms. Sometimes the body resets itself.

Mine will do it around the equinoxes when I'm not on HBC, without fail. I usually have a 30-ish day cycle, and I'll go between 40-50 days.

Keep track of it, maybe grab a pregnancy test if there's a concern about that, and see if you have any other odd physical symptoms. (E.g., fatigue, weight gain, brainfog, other symptoms that were part of my hypothyroid along with my irregular, usually long, menstrual cycles... O;> Yes, it's my pet hobby-horse, and it trots out all the time.) Other than that, I'd give it a few months to see if it's recent stress/diet/exercise, or what.

Luck!
