So I don't know what's going on with my body.

My stomach has been hurting and my back has really been hurting today (like it does when I have my period). I've been going to the bathroom so much in the past two hours and my stomach is killing me. I keep having to poo...and I've had a lot of fiber today but I don't know if that's the reason. I usually pee for a millisecond and then there is this really sharp pain. This most recent time I went to the bathroom, I'm bleeding. What's the deal?

I'm on birth control and just had my period last week. I'm on the fourth BC pill this month (went back on my BC Sunday after finishing my sugar pills).

Anyone have any idea what's going on? is this just indigestion or could it be something else? I understand this is gross so I apologize.

Bleeding from the back end?

I'd say go to the doctor ASAP just to make sure you're ok. It could be any number of things.

If your back hurts, it might be a kidney infection.

Yeah, this sounds like a UTI which when you start bleeding in your urine, it usually indicates that the UTI has or will soon turn into a kidney infection. Go into your doctor ASAP so he can put you on antibiotics before you get a kidney infection. I have had sexual UTI's before and had bleeding in my urine for one of them but it had not turned into a kidney infection yet, luckily, but my doc told me if I had waited even a couple more days it would have and those are much harder to treat than just a UTI.

I definitely meant to say "several UTI's" and not "sexual UTI's" hahahaha, whoops.

Agreed. Sounds like a UTI/kidney infection. Get to the doctor ASAP.

You should go to a doctor.

The short pee followed by a sharp pain DEFINITELY sounds like a bladder infection. That coupled with blood in your urine and back pain is actually what I would call an emergency - when I have called a nurse hotline in the past with bloody urine, they told me to go to the ER. If you can find an open doctor or clinic that would be fine too, but if not, I would recommend going to the emergency room, unfortunately. You'll be ok, but you need to get some antibiotics.

P.S. This definitely isn't too gross for VP!! Promise.

Seconding the "Far-too-possibly kidney infection -- get to doctor NOW!" advice. You do not want your kidneys to be damaged! You need your kidneys! (Believe me, I had mine impaired at one time. Not good. Chance of seizures, coma, death? Do NOT want.)

Back pain can be a warning sign of a kidney infection esp. when coupled with peeing blood. If I were to present these symptoms I'd probably go to a doctor, an immediate care facility, or an ER if all else fails.

In agreement re: possible UTI & in agreement re: seeing a doc/going to ER ASAP! This could turn way more serious very quickly. Good luck!

I agree with everyone saying go to the doctor because it may be a kidney infection. I suffered one of these things a few years back, and at the beginning, I thought that the dull aches in my back were just because of my period coming early or something. But when urinating felt like I was peeing razors, I went to the doctor and found out it was a kidney infection. Those aren't anything to play around with at all and can become very serious. I was lucky I didn't have to be hospitalized. Definitely see a doctor soon, and good luck.

This sounds like a bad UTI or a kidney infection. When I had my first UTI there was no blood but a lot of pain while peeing and terrible back pain. Second UTI there was a lot of blood.

This could be a UTI, but if you a going to the bathrooms a lot as in #2 it could be colon problems, I know someone who has colon problems and that happens to them, or you could have hemorrhoids, It is best to go get it checked out just to make sure. Its hard to try and guess what it could be.. Hope you are better soon.

Doctor, doctor, give me the news I've got... pee pain and bloody poos!

Seriously. Go now if you aren't already there. You don't fuck around with blood in stool, back pain and pain while urinating. That all together spells "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TREAT AT HOME".
