its not as simple to shove the stick in as you think. they have to jiggle it around to get it right. Having it numb, its just a lot of pressure (mine shifted just outside the numb area before it got settles where it should) and that was very uncomfortable.
my bellybutton piercing hurt quite a bit. I passed out when the clamp was one. The clamp was the hardest part for me (i snapped back as soon as she was pulling the ring through). My tongue ring was the easiest... though my tattoo didnt hurt at all :P
