vaginal discharge

I'll try and explain the best I can.

I started to have sex with one of my guy friends about 3 months ago. I visit him for a period of a week at a time since he lives about 5 hours away from me. I just recently visited him last weekend and we had sex when I was on my period. We had unprotected sex again and had lots of it. Today, when I'd pee it would hurt the last like 2 seconds of it. I've gotten a urinary tract infection before from having too much sex and not peeing enough before and after sex so I was like "Uh oh! I'm getting a UTI." My pee also has a bad odor. I've never had this before. I just started getting a discharge too that's not really white. It's more off-white, light brown and it had little teeny tiny black string looking things whenever I'd wipe and little bit in my underwear. I don't know what the hell these things are. They are extremely small, but very noticeable. I'm going to go get tested for STDs sometime this week. He says he is not STD positive, but you can never be too sure. I don't need anyone to tell me that I was stupid for having sex without a condom. I already know this, and it already happened so there is nothing that I can do about it. I just want to know if anyone knows about this discharge and this odor smelling pee. Thanks for the help!

As for the discharge: could just be left over blood from your period/blood if your cervix got hit a bit (Happens all the time to me, but I like it :0) ).

The "black string things" sound like a little bit of lining that's just left over.

Of course, if you've got smelly pee, burning, it's always a good idea to hit up the Doc, just to make sure it's not a UTI/kidney infection/whathaveyou. In the meantime, between time: LOTS OF WATER, and cranberry supplements/straight up cranberry juice.
Also, Azo sells some stuff for getting rid of the pain of a UTI, if you are in a lot of pain and can't get to the doc immediately. It'll turn your pee orange, though, but it works well. You can get it at your pharmacy/walmart/meijer/target, etc.

oh sweet! thank you! i heard about these pain killers for uti thtat turn your piss a different color but i wasn't sure if i had to get it through the doctor or not. so that's awesome. thanks :)

the docs have the stronger ones, but if you're in a pinch, the Azo ones work just fine.

although, if you don't know that they turn your piddle orange, you'll be awfully surprised when you wipe away bright orange...that happened to me the first time I had a uti/kidney infection combo. No one told me you pee orange, so it was quite a shock to see it in the bowl!! haha.

My urine sometimes has a strong smell, but it's usually from me drinking too much soda and not enough water.

Smelly pee can also be a symptom of bacterial vaginosis! Or at least, it is for me.
