I knew that one day my profession could come in handy on this site! I work in the industry - not in front of the cameras - so lets see if I can be of some use!
1) Xtube is a good site, it is a part of the parent company AEBN. There are a variety of places (Xpeeps, Redtube) that you can post these on. My one word of caution is that you do what you can to prevent your video from being copied or embedded on other sites. Unfortunately, laws aren't too clear yet on the legalities of who will be held responsible for posting materials that may be considered questionable, and some sites will take videos from others and post them as their own.
Don't worry so much about who/what is popular - it will vary every where you look. Some people will say Stormy is the most popular star, others Tera Patrick, still others Belladonna... it just depends on the preferences of who you ask. As for what people like, try going to an online VOD site and looking at the most viewed titles, and what the top sellers/renters are on retail sites. This again varies depending where you are located.
I'm seeing a shift in buyers towards more couple friendly content, "real" looking woman (meaning not airbrushed, not overly made up, and with more than just skin on their bones - hallelujah!) As long as YOU are comfortable with what you're doing, what you look like, and are enjoying yourself, I guarantee people will enjoy watching it. (there's actually an article right now
2) Posting on one site does not automatically cost you the opportunity to make money off of your videos. There are companies who will buy clips to put into videos or onto their own sites, depending more on the content, rather than views. I don't know of any multi-cultural sites off hand, but I would recommend you try Xpeeps in this case. (no, I do not work for them!) It's sort of like an adult version of My Space, where you can post blogs, rants/raves, videos and communicate with people who have similar interests. This will also give you an idea of just how much is out there - it is mind boggling!
3) Don't post your real name, birth date, address, don't show the exterior of your home or car, anything that can be used to identify you other than your body. Create an email address that is only for this purpose, and again, don't attach it to your name. It really shouldn't kill these hopes, but, unfortunately, thanks to the wonder that has brought you to VP, can also bring potential employers to you should they know how to use Google. It's a common sense issue - if you're going to do it, be smart about it.

Good luck - let us know how it goes!
