[identity profile] photocopyme.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] vaginapagina
So, there was a post (that I can't seem to find) where someone was talking about their lady bits being dry and had some vaginal acne and some regular, normal vaginal bumps.  In one of the comments, someone suggested taking a bath using some oatmeal bath stuff.  I've been having a similar problem with being dry and itchy down there.  So, last night I got some oatmeal bath (just a generic wal-mart brand, I'm poor..heh) and I tried it.  And I noticed that I haven't been dry or itchy since then!  However, I suddenly have produced a lot more (or I guess just thinner) natural lube than usual.  Is this a side effect of the oatmeal bath, or is it just because I've been eating healthier and not drinking as many sugary drinks?

I think it's a combination of both. I used to take these baths with my ex and we both (he was transgendered) had some interesting discharge going on. It didn't last very long though.

Oatmeal baths are wonderful things...but they do give me funky discharge for a bit. If it does help the dry, itchiness, instead of buying the oatmeal bath bags, just buy a big ol' can of rolled oats and grind them up in a blender or coffee grinder (1/3 cup is more than enough for 1 bath).
