Quick HBC question!

Been on birth control for almost a year. I know that when you first start using BC, you should use a 2nd method like a condom but I was wondering is that that's only for the first month right? After so many months, once you start a new pack (on time!), it's just immediatly affective right? I mean i know the answers, but still get paranoid.

me and my bf used to use condoms along with the birth control pills no matter what time of the month but now we don't anymore so it was a big step in my paranoia :) lol I just wanna be reassured that I have nothing to worry about as long as ive been taking my pills religiously. Note: he also doesnt ejaculate inside ever.

the first pack that you ever took when you started HBC, after the first seven days, you are protected as long as you take your pills on time, and then you dont need a second from of protection.

Yup, as long as you are taking at least 21 active pills on time in a row and no more than 7 placebo pills in a row, you are protected all month long, including during the placebos.
