My question is for all the girls that have the Mirena insert. I was just wondering how much you ladies paid?

I have good health insurance with Aetna and since I am looking to get a new gyno, I was going to find one based on asking them first and foremost if they'd be willing to do the insert on a 20 yr old.

I've heard that some won't unless a person is older with children and I really feel like that's unfair.

Anyway, is anyone with my similar situation willing to tell me what they paid out of pocket for the insert? I figure that it's got to be less than $10 a month for bc for the next five years, but how much less?
