I have two completely unrelated questions.
Has anyone here tried the lady cup? I've been reading about it in the menstrual cup community because I'd love to buy something reusable, but I worry because when I use Insteads, I always leak. There's almost no blood in the "cup" part. I know menstrual cups fit differently than Insteads, so I'm wondering if anyone has used one successfully and not the other.
My second question is a bit more complicated and weird. My mons is really irritated from brazilians, as in I had red bumps for at least six months, then stopped waxing for 3, and the bumps didn't clear up on their own. I asked my doctor, who told me to use an OTC anti-fungal cream because I had a yeast overgrowth. I've been using Lotrimin Ultra 1-2 times/day with Cortaid (my doc also recommended a hydrocortisone cream to reduce redness). I've been using the Lotrimin for a month, and while the redness has decreased a little bit, I'm still pretty red and blotchy. It looks much like the redness caused when a baby gets really bad diaper rash.
Should I try natural anti-fungal treatments or demand a prescription from my doctor? Are there any other things I should try?
Thanks everyone :)
