Hello!
I was wondering if anyone in this community has personally experienced this or know anything about it?  The most information that I could find was on this site.

The reason why I think I might have this is because I've had symptoms similar to that of a UTI -- the urgency to urinate, cloudiness of urine, and a persistent burning sensation when I do urinate.  However, I went to the doctor's and my urine did not test positive for a UTI, although my doctor said that there were trace amounts of blood.  My doctor, just as a precaution, prescribed an antibiotic (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) and told me to take them if my problems persist.

I decided not to take the antibiotics and to wait it out until I felt as though I was getting worse.  The next night, I was awoken by a sharp pain in my lower abdomen and the need to pee.  While I was peeing, it was more painful than before but my urine was a clear/pale yellow color.  Even after urinating, I still felt like I had to pee.  And there was a new sensation in addition to my other pain.  I felt oddly aroused?  I had the same  feeling that I got when I was about to ejaculate.  My vagina was really sore but I attributed it to having slightly rough sex a few days earlier.  I decided to try pressing the g-spot area that I would press in order to ejaculate and once I did, without much effort I began ejaculating.  However, unlike my normal clear, watery ejaculate, this was orange/dark yellow in color and I think it had blood in it?

It's two days later and both my urine and ejaculate are pale yellow/clear.  My vagina is still extremely sensitive and the g-spot area is swollen.  Today, I felt aroused all day because my vagina has been extra sensitive, so sensitive that it's uncomfortable for me to sit at times.  It feels like my g-spot is getting really full and it's painful if I don't ejaculate to release the fluid.

I've been taking my antibiotics for the supposed UTI in hopes that it'll clear up whatever I might really have but I'm on my last day's worth of antibiotics and I still feel discomfort  I've been reading sites and a lot of the sites have stated that the cause of this is unknown therefore doctors are unsure how to treat it.  I figured I'd make a doctor's appointment later today, but I just wanted to know more about this before I start freaking out anymore than I already am.

Also, even though I'm not a doctor and I'm not sure if I even have female prostatitis, I'm afraid that my doctor will misdiagnose me.  Would it be completely rude and out of my place to suggest that I might have this?  I'm sorry for the length and if I wasn't expressing myself clearly.  Thank you for reading!

You might want to post this in the interstitial cystitis community. They might have some answers for you in there. I'm in that community, and they've helped me alot. I had a lot of problems with urethral pain and spasms, and by following the IC diett (which is absolutely no fun) and increasing my water intake my pain is mostly gone.

I hope you find something that helps you! I know it's frustrating. I went through years of being mis-diagnosed with UTIs before finally finding some relief.

Without knowing specifically how they evaluated your urine for infection, I'd recommend that you schedule another visit with them and ask to evaluate in a different way. For example, if they did a urine dip and it didn't show anything, I'd recommend a urinalysis and culture. If they did u/a and culture, perhaps it's time to consider a urology consult and a catheterization culture, or another type of urological evaluation.

Yes! Sterile Cystitis. That's EXACTLY what I thought of. My cat has it. :) I have it. Needless to say, I've learned of various ways to deal with it.

Regardless of what you might have (definitely try a specialist who can recognize cystits), I'd suggest giving Uva Ursi tincture a try. 20 drops in a glass of water or juice, 3-4 times a day. You can buy it online, or, if you have a good health food store nearby, they should carry it. It's AMAZING for cystitis and cystitis symptoms. Are you stressed out right now? That typically causes onsets of cystitis.

GOOD LUCK!
