I had a UTI about six months ago, and it felt nothing like this! So I'm a little bit confused.

I have no pain on urination and my pee isn't cloudy. I guess I do need to pee a lot more, but last time it felt like my bladder was constantly full, now it feels more like I'm going to leak, if that makes sense. I can sort of feel things in my uretha, it sort of feels like I'm about to start peeing, which is making me constantly afraid I'm going to wet myself! I had my period about a week ago and it normally feels like this to some extent during that time, but it hasn't gone away this time... It's been like this for almost a week, surely if it was a UTI it would have gotten worse by now to the point where it was pretty obvious? I'm so confused!

not all UTI's have symptoms. I get them all the time with no symptoms whatsoever. That tingling (like you have to pee) is really common with mine, but it also happens when i am dehydrated. Drink more water over the next day or so and see if it helps. I find if i drink a glass of water every time i pee, i dont get that weird feeling as often.Dehydration can mimic so many different things (low blood sugar, infections, dizziness, migraines) that a lot of the time once you drink enough you will feel fine. Try it, if it doesnt help, call your doc :P

I've been having the same symptoms as you and my babysitter gave me some of her cranberry pills that seem to be helping. Or you could just try cranberry juice, but I don't like drinking all that sugar in it.

I also agree on increasing water. Water is pretty much all i drink anyway.

Actually, for a UTI, the less sugar, the better. You're supposed to drink 100% Cranberry juice, not the cocktail kind you can find at the grocery store.
