vaginapagina | "Isthmus of the uterus"

This is kind of funny in a not very funny way. Someone had created the "cervix" page ("ceg y groth") on the Welsh version of Wikipedia with dummy text, and a well-meaning editor had attempted to replace that with a description of what it is. They made a reasonable very simple attempt (the text translates as "The cervix is the channel which leads to the uterus in women and female animals") but the notes they left themselves are the part that amuse me.

The first one is apparently an attempt to figure out the English name by calque, which says "isthmus of [the] uterus". The other, which I'm rather a lot more surprised about, is where the interwiki link to the English version should go: it says "No article about this on the English wikipedia at present". The editor was able to write that much text and not guess the English name? I didn't think it was that obscure.

I do wonder whether they'd heard the English term "cervix" and not realised what it meant in real life, though. So it goes to show how important it is not to just assume that people always understand medical Latin-based terms.

Anyway, I thought some of you might like to see it.
