I think my buttox cheeks have been chaffing... has that ever happened to anyone else? It's a little red and there are some bumps. Just checking to make sure it's probably not anything else. Someone please reply!

That definitely sounds like it could be caused by irritation, or dryness, or both. I know that around this time of year, the air indoors gets pretty dry and my skin tends to do the same. I'd try using a nice rich lotion or cream on the area (preferably something that's hypoallergenic/unfragranced, to avoid causing further irritation). If that doesn't seem to be helping, you might switch your laundry detergent to one that's fragrance-free.

I also find that wearing pads exacerbates this sort of problem -- I'm not sure if that's a possible factor for you, but I'm throwing it out there just in case. I find that organic disposable pads and washable cloth pads don't irritate me, while non-organic disposable pads (even the unscented ones) tend to upset the skin in that area, both on my vulva and inner thighs and on my buttocks. Just something to think about, if you are a pad user. :)

Aww, ouch. FWIW, my four year old (who obv. doesn't wear g-strings!) has some of the driest skin on her body on her butt cheeks! I make sure to put Cetaphil lotion on her skin, or else it grows very itchy and of course, she just sticks her hand down her pants to scratch!
