changing period week

im on kariva and next week will be my "off week". I have a fancy thing coming up the day im supposed to start my period, so im thinking of skipping my period.
How do i do this with kariva? The "off" week contains 2 pills that are a diff. color than the active pills, then 5 pills of a third color. Very Confusing to me.
