Post-sex cramps?

vaginapaginaI don't know if this is the right place to be posting this, but I don't really know where else to ask.
I had sex for the first time one week ago, and ever since then, I've had sort of awful cramps and I've had discharge that's slightly darker in color. Is that normal? I'm not thinking I'm pregnant or anything, but I'm just curious. The cramps sort of feel like period cramps (period cramps are a bit more painful) but I ended my period on the 24th.
Anyone know what could be up? Did this happen to you when you first had sex?
