I'm very close to freaking out but I'm trying to hold my composure until the next 2 weeks are up. I had sex with the ex on Saturday and when he finished the condom looked *drained* at the tip, instead of full. I can't describe it, but I felt something kinda seep out of my vag and when I moved from my spot on the bed, I passed over a huge wet spot. I didn't think much of it because many couples get those after sex and it was in the shape of a line (probably from my butt crack lol)...but then there was another spot further down the bed in a random circle shape!

The boy says the condom felt a lot dryer than normal and when we touched the spots, they were sticky and the texture was like water. I smelled it and it smelled of my vagina, but it was sticky. Maybe it's just me, but my natural lube isn't usually sticky like that.

Has anyone experienced this (wet spots) during sex? Should I have cause to worry yet? I think I waited too long for Morning after or Plan B...so I'm just going wait for my period to come in 2 weeks, hopefully! Any advice? Words of comfort?

PP says EC can be effective for up to 120 hours, and Saturday night was 72 hours ago (I'm in New York time, so add or subtract accordingly)...while it's more effective the earlier you take it, it is not necessarily too late if you get to a pharmacy tomorrow.

Even if it was just a weird one-time thing, rather than breakage, it's worth getting for peace of mind.

Hope it all works out!

If you follow the link from the top comment, you can click on "getting EC" in the side bar and it will give you a range of costs. If you're near a PP or student health kind of place, you might not do too badly. It looks like Plan B is $10-$45, just to give you an estimate.

Good luck!

you can still get plan b, so you might want to look into that. did the condom have lubricant or spermicide on it? maybe that's where the stickiness came from.

You would probably know if it was semen. My boyfriend and I just had unprotected (condomwise, I'm on the pill) sex last night. Afterward, wondering what one of the wet spots was, I sniffed it. Bllleeaaaachyyy, totally semen-smelling. Unmistakable.

However, plan B might be worth it just to ease your mind!

You don't by any chance still have the condom, like in the trash can or something, do you? If so, you can hold it under the faucet and fill it up with water to see if it broke. If the water leaks out of it, obviously it's broken or has a hole somewhere; if not, then you're probably okay and the wet spot was probably just lube or something (lube gets pretty sticky when it's allowed to dry). If it is lube, it's possible that it leaked out of the condom wrapper.
