1. Acne on the rear end is usually either from ingrown hairs, or because moisture is being retained on your bottom. Using cotton panties and anything that lets air flow should help, but paying close attention to washing that area is always a plus. Most people tend to concentrate on the crack, which is good, but they don't pay much attention to washing the cheeks.
2. It's completely normal.

I have had butt-acne before, it's very unsightly. I noticed I had a butt-acne breakout (hahaha) when I first went on hormonal birth control, so the fact you are on Depo may be exacerbating or causing your outbreak, along with making you moody. Have you noticed your face is breaking out more often as well? I had that unfortunate side effect in the beginning, but thankfully the pill has, after about 2 months of being on it, significantly cut back my acne overall.

And yes, it is.

Sorry for the late reply, but re: the buttne, how often do you change the sheets on your bed? If you use the same ones for a really long time(and you sleep on your back) then that might be the cause? Maybe try changing them more often and see if it helps :)

hehe im now going to use the word "buttne" in my daily speech.

OP: maybe the sweat and whatnot from sex is causing the breakouts. depending on the position, he may be rubbing up against your butt or leaning on it or what have you, all while sweating and moving around.
i sometimes get rug burn (or hair burn?) on the region between my vulva and ass, and then i know its time to trim my guys pubic hair.

try a different position where his body is not in contact with your ass as much. also, when youre done, hop in the shower, if clean up with an unscented baby wipe if showering isnt an option.

did you know nutrogena has a acne body wash? you could try that too. its called body clear body wash, i think. its organge, typical of nutrogena.
