That makes perfect sense. I don't know enough about how the body works to understand how different bodies make different uses of hormones....but I suppose that some people's bodies are more sensitive to hormonal fluctuations, and I'm just one of them. Also, having a fairly low libido makes it all too obvious when one of the factors affecting it is tweaked, even if it is just one factor.

It's not like my side effects on HBC are earth shatteringly terrible, it's just that they're there, and I resent them. It's stupid, but I know so many people who are on antidepressants and whatnot, and I feel awful for them having to use chemicals to tweak their moods to feel better. I'm so lucky to have escaped that need, and so now the last thing I want is for my mood to be at the mercy of chemicals too! Possibly irrational and silly, but eh.
