Well, the name of it is called Fluconazole..but it said on the box it's a substitute for Diflucan. ( i just got up to go read it..haha) So far, i haven't experienced any allergic reactions to it, but it has been giving me some crap. When i took my medicine and went to my room...i kept smelling something that smelled similar to an old womans perfume. (strong..weird smelling perfume..LOL!) and i kept sniffing my arms and my hands, incase i might have had some sort of contact to the smell...and that wasn't the case. The next thing i knew, when i was breathing in through my mouth..i could smell it again..and as i type this..i can still smell it...faintly...but i can still smell it. It knocked me out cold though earlier..i went fast to sleep around 1pm..but it has also caused me to be a bit disoriented..and have a slow reaction time. While talking on the phone to my boyfriend, my speech was becomming slurred at points..and i would stutter..or try to think of the next thing i am going to say. It did say it'd cause dizziness..but not disorientation...maybe it's just the drug is a bit strong for my brain! haha!
My doctor told me NOTHING bout how long i should wait..even when i told her i was sexually active...=/ so that's why i came here..to ask someone who may know.
I even viewed the links on the side of this community, and learned more about yeast infections and how they're caused and prevented. :D
