Ok ladies... so my boyfriend and I are going to Seattle at the end of June for my birthday (and the Feist concert, yay!) and I was just checking mymonthlycycles.com and it looks like i'm going to start my period that weekend...of course...
My next period is probably going to start around two weeks from today (on the 28th or 29th) and I'm wondering if there's anything I could start doing now to delay it by a couple of days, so that my following period will start on the monday or tuesday instead of the saturday or sunday (or hopefully even later since my birthday is the tuesday - but all i really want is to not have it when we're out of town)
I'm not taking any birth control pills since I have an IUD so I can't stack my monthly pill packs and that's the only way I know of to delay periods. I'm hoping there's some tea or something that I could start taking that can lengthen my luteal phase by a couple of days (i had egg-white discharge yesterday, so that's why i think i'll menstruate in two weeks)
I figure it's probably not likely, but I've got to try, right?
Thanks!
