A friend of my just found out that she may have an UTI, so we did research on the internet before she went to the doctors just so she didn't think she was making it up. I could be wrong, but I don't think that UTIs cause cramping...unless thats what they mean by discomfort on/around the pubic bone? Not really sure...
And yeah, I know you should follow the directed instructions for meds, but it all depends on how much the doctor prescribes. Some doctors prescibe more pills just to make sure that it IS fully gone, others just prescribe to what is common. I think you may be fine.
I would, when you go to the doctors, tell them that you want to make sure that your UTI is fully gone and have another sample taken. Because if you dont, I would assume you would still want to make them do Something to find out why you are cramping, right?
