Yaz Birth Control Question

I have a question about bleeding while on Yaz birth control. I have been on it for a little over six months and I have noticed that lately (within the last three months) during my period my menstrual flow has been...odd. It is almost watery and not red at all. It is a mauve/brown color. Is this normal? None of the other BC pills I have used have done this so I'm wondering if it is the Yaz causing it or what. Sorry if this is graphic.
