According to Planned Parenthood (http://www.plannedparenthood.org/pp2/portal/files/portal/medicalinfo/birthcontrol/pub-birth-control-02.xml), the risk of getting pregnant using the "withdrawal method" is 27% with typical use, and 4% with perfect use. We don't really know whether those pregnancies are due to precum, or if they're due to method failure (ie. the guy doesn't pull out in time, or ejaculate gets into the vagina somehow) but the fact remains that most people using this method are looking at a 1 in 4 risk of pregnancy. I don't know about you, but to me that's too high! I'd highly recommend that you look into using a more reliable method if it's important for you to not be getting pregnant in the immediate future.
