Well, yes, but the point is, there's a vast difference between ingesting huge amounts daily for a lifetime, and a tiny bit for about a week, so while the cancer mention might be startling, I should think that looking into the data surrounding the study would reassure one that the real risk is virtually nonexistent. Probably quite a lot of things would give you cancer if you consumed very large amounts for years on end, things you wouldn't think twice about consuming on a more realistic basis.
