I know that pregnancy can be hard to achieve right after you get off the pill (until all the hormones get out of your system), but could it harm a pregnancy a year later?
My theology teacher (who is pretty much anti-women-being-anything-but-baby-raisers) said that the hormones from the pill caused her to miscarry almost a year after getting off the pill. (If it's worth anything, this was 20-odd years ago.) She does have a tendency to *ahem* exaggerate, so I'm wondering if there's any truth in her at all.
I understand that the pill affects different women differently, but I'm skeptical of the possibility of this. Help?
