Birth Control Use

I just started using the birth control pill (Aleese) and I have a couple generic questions that weren't answered anywhere else.

-How much lee way do you have when taking the pill? I know you're suppose to take it at the same time every day, but does it have to be at the exact same time or is it alright if it's fifteen (an arbitrary number) minutes off?

-How soon is the pill effective? For instance, are you able to (hypothetically) have sex without any other form of contraceptive days after taking the first pill or do you have to wait a certain amount of time?
