A cautionary tale...
For a while I was not getting my period at all, or very sporadically. It was never, ever predictable, from when it would show up to how long it would last. Then it stopped coming entirely; so I went to the gyno (I'm fifteen, was fourteen at the time, and it was so embarassing). I found out I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which basically means I have multiple cysts on my ovaries that affect my hormones and throw off my period. I'm on OTC Lo now to regulate it, but I found out recently I might have insulin deficiency because of it; I just recently got blood work done to check - the results aren't back yet.
But the point of this is, if your period comes up MIA (even when you're as young as me, when it could be normal for it to be weird), please get it checked out! It could be something serious.
Hoping everyone's happy and healthy this Thanksgiving (for those who celebrate ^^),
