I used it with my nuvaring without obvious negative consequences (i.e. I didn't see any deterioration of the plastic or get pregnant) but I felt like it might not be the best idea. (And, though likely totally unrelated, I did end up with 6 blood clots in my lungs shortly thereafter....)
