To me, the whole non-makeup wearing militant man hating woman idea of a feminist is completely innaccurate.
I went to a conference a few weeks ago sponsored by the Feminist Majority Foundation and it was full of articulate beautiful women, many of which had makeup on to the full nine yards.
Just because you like to wear makeup, as I do also, doesn't make you any less of a feminist. If anything, it's admirable to break out of the typical feminist role and be yourself. There are cases where women have been forced to wear makeup to work...that's not cool at all. That's what feminism is about, really. Having the choice to be yourself and not be looked down on for it.
