I've been on Yasmin for the past year or so (Ortho-Tricylen before that) and I'm seriously considering switching to the NuvaRing with all the great things I've heard about it.
But when I brought it up with my boyfriend, he expressed concern that since the "stuff" is being released down there (instead of through my mouth and into my blood stream like the Pill), that his "parts" might come in contact with the contents being released from the Ring and if so, he was concerned how it might affect him.
Should he really be worried about this? I figured that if it was a valid concern, the NuvaRing wouldn't even be widely used. But I suppose it's a good question, because I certainly don't know the answer.
