I had the exact same happen to me- but I was only 20 and skinny! The doctors said it was a mystery and my entire life I've been healthy as a horse- I had never been to this hospital before when this happened. However, I did read somewhere that Native Americans are more prone to gallstones- which I am, so maybe that had something to do with it. Anyway just wanted to add that.
