I've been on the pill for almost 2 weeks, and I started on the first day of my period. I have it everyday at 6pm (useless information but anyway) I don't usually have a period longer than 4-5 days and I still have brown discharge. My doctor didn't say anything about it, and I can't go back for a while to ask. I've searched on the internet and nothing helps because it doesn't match what the websites say. I also have cramps still, which is weird because I only have them before my period and maybe the first and second day during. Is this normal? I have the pill that gives you a 7 day break for bleeding. I've looked at the side affects for my pill and it doesn't really say cramping or discharge, just says stuff to watch out for like blood clots. ALSO does it give yeast infections? I know I posted a lot at some point so it means I obviously get them a lot, but I was just wondering because the doctor said nothing about it... Any help would be great, my mum is away so I'm looking after the house with my brother and I don't think he'd be much use asking.

Hi, I'm a FTM trans man. I've been having a weird thing going on with my original plumbing, and was wondering if anyone else has had this happen, or if any non-trans women have experienced this.

I've been on T for almost 11 years, stopped bleeding after my second shot, and have never had any spotting or random periods or anything like that, although I have occasionally gotten period-like cramps after orgasm. About two years ago, maybe 30 minutes after a particularly strong orgasm (purely from external stimulation, no penetration of any kind), I noticed a couple blobs of bright red, stringy blood in the toilet. This continued for about 3-4 months and then stopped; it only happened after having an orgasm, and only once or twice after. Otherwise, no bleeding of any kind. I went to my doctor about it, and she said it was nothing to worry about, probably just some blood being pushed out as a result of uterine contractions, and that non-trans women have this happen occasionally, too. I can't remember this ever happening to me before T, and I'm pretty sure I've never heard of it happening to anyone (not that that means it doesn't, of course), so it kind of freaked me out. My doctor did a pap, and that came back completely normal. Then it went away for awhile so I kind of quit worrying about it.

It started happening again this week, almost exactly two years after the last time. I'm seeing my doctor this week anyway, and will definitely address this with her, but I wanted to know whether anyone else has experienced anything like this before.

And please, I have a LOT of anxiety around health-related things, so if this is not something you or someone you know has experienced before, I ask that you spare me any "omg you should go to the doctor, you might have cancer!!" fear-mongering stuff. Thank you.
