Ok, here's the deal. I'm 16 and very active in sports. I've never had sex and I'm not planning on it anytime soon. But when the time comes I'm kinda scared. I tend to sweat a lot everywhere (mostly armpits and down there). But I mostly only sweat down there when I'm running or it's hot outside. Anyway, it's been happening for awhile now, it's wet down there. But I know it isn't sweat because I don't feel hot down there. And sometimes I can actually feel the liquid come out. Idk if it's discharge or what. It smells kind of and it looks very light yellowish on my underwear, but I've taken toilet paper and wiped and then it's clear like discharge. The smell bothers me. I don't think anyone else can smell it, but it is enough for me to smell when I'm sitting there. I wear panty liners sometimes, but it makes it uncomfortable and hot. Also, I have a boyfriend, and when we make out I notice that I get extremely wet. Like I know that's natural but it's so much it puddles in my underwear. I know it's a lot to respond to but any advice would be great. Thanks!

I started Alesse using the "anytime start" method, and I was a few days away from my period when I started it. Didn't get my period that first month. My instructions have been to stack for 3 months, but I'm 7 days into Month 2 and this morning I experienced some spotting. I inserted a tampon, and it seems to not be much, but my periods are often pretty light.

My objective is to NOT be bleeding as soon as possible, and I've read horror stories about spotting continuing for weeks when one continues to take the birth control with this while stacking. Would it be a safer bet to stop for 3-5 days (the length of my usual period) and hopefully let the uterine lining shed? It usually takes my body 3 placebo pill days to start it's withdrawl bleed, so I don't want to stop taking my BC if that will encourage more spotting next week when I've started back up.

I should add - I've stacked before when I was on this HBC, and never had a problem. I'm wondering if it's because my uterine lining had probably built up when I started, since I was so close to my (real) period.

Help, VPers! Thanks in advance :)

So i'm due my period today, I've not had it, but this is not a fear of pregnancy thing.
I have had my normal premenstrual symptoms up until I seem to be producing fertile mucus now for about 4 days. I do realize it might not be, but I have some tie-in symptoms which have also happened.i had fertie mucus earlier in the month. I guess the question is it this possible to ovulate twice?

Hey everyone! I am in serious need of some knowledge and peace of mind from you lovely people. Here are the details:

In November, about two weeks into my active pills, I was late taking a few of them. (Each on different days.) The times varied from 30mins to 2ish hours I believe. I was NOT sexually active during this time. I did however, completely miss one pill and have to take two in the same day. (I am on Lutera and have been for about two years, and I have always been VERY GOOD about taking them at the same time. This month was a fluke.)

At this point, I was still not sexually active. I had become paranoid that I might get pregnant if I did anything with anyone. Shortly after this missed pill, I got a yeast infection and had some spotting at the same time. (Oh, joy!)

About a week later (and I took the pill every day at the same time for this new week), when it came time for my period to come, (STILL NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE) it came, but it was VERY light. Lighter than normal. Only spotting on a few of the days, and enough for me to wear a tampon maybe one or two days.

Now, my pack of Lutera says that if I miss a pill, and have to take two in the same day, I have to use a backup method for seven days. Well, I wasn't having sex so I wasn't too worried but I still waited the seven days (these seven days overlapped with inactive pills aka the length of my "period") before I started becoming sexually active again.

I was paranoid about the light bleeding and took a pregnancy test while on my period. I know. I'm stupid. It was negative.

Then, I started a new pack of pills and decided (since I had waited seven days in the previous pack with no sexual activity) to become sexually active on the 2nd day of my new pack. We use condoms as well and they have not broken. I have taken the pill at the same time every day for this new month.

Do I have anything to worry about this month? Am I being paranoid? Did I just screw my cycle up last month and eveything will be normal again this month? Could I be pregnant?

Sorry for the length, but please shed some light on this! I'm freaking out here. :(

Another "what are these red bumps?" post but I've been worried for so long and haven't been able to make an appointment with my gynecologist up until now. Any advice would be appreciated!

I started birth control (Yasmin) at the beginning of August and slept with a boy at the end of the month (mostly protected, once unprotected). I started having thicker, drippy white discharge about two weeks later but thought it might be an effect of the birth control so I decided to wait it out. I slept with the same boy mid September and then developed itchy red bumps in my genital area - but only where there was pubic hair. This was mostly concentrated on my upper pelvis, nothing internal. Two days later I developed an odd shaped bump on my inner thigh that grew within hours and made my entire leg sore, it had a white head and was raised. I also got a fever so I went to the doctor the next day but I think the fever just turned out to be an oncoming cold. The doctor didn't do any testing but prescribed Cipro for the raised bump and cortisone cream for the smaller bumps on my pelvis.

Things seemed to be under control but I slept with the boy again mid October (again, mostly protected but once unprotected) and traveled to Morocco (I got food poisoning and went to a bath house so there's a chance I could have contracted something there?). I spent all of November with strange new red bumps in my genital region - about 15 of them at the height of it but they are not clustered at all, just scattered. They look like mosquito bites and come and go in in less than a week, but there is always a new one coming up. There is still nothing internal but my labia has sores - the skin looks pink and is tender to the touch. Other than that, the bumps are slightly itchy and sometimes painful but not too much. The strangest thing about all this is I'll get a random pimple-looking bump somewhere on my leg, similar to what I had on my inner thigh 2 months ago but much less painful. Right now I have one on my knee. I'm not sure what infection I have, if it's an STD or some sort of allergic reaction to something, but it's strange it is only happening in my genital area and lower body. I've googled everything and it doesn't look like any of the images I've found.

Has anyone experienced something like this? I am planning on going to Planned Parenthood next week to get tested. I've never been to PP before - are the tests expensive? Is it hard to make an appointment? I have insurance but would rather not use it since it is billed to my parents..
