My cycle is pretty short, usually about 25 days or so. Last Friday I had brown spotting, which is a very typical start of my period, so I put in my menstrual cup and figured my period was here. However... it hasn't come and now it's been 3-4 days. The spotting is also done and I have no cramps, but do feel like I have to pee a lot. Last Friday it was 20 days since the start of my last period, which makes me think it's not mid-cycle spotting (which I don't think I've ever had). My partner and I use condoms but did some PIV without ejaculation last month - according to some online calculator, exactly during my fertile days. Not exactly huge odds, I know...

What do you think, is there any chance of pregnancy?? so the spotting would have been implantation bleeding? When can I start to reliably take a pregnancy test? If it IS pregnancy (I'd want to keep it), any vitamins or anything that I should start thinking about right now??

I noticed a smattering of small faintly red bumps (about six) on my vulva on Saturday morning, two days ago. I shaved down there twice last week, probably too close together, and have been having lots of sex with my cis-male partner after months of no sex whatsoever. I've also moved in the last two weeks from a moist climate to a dry, cold climate.

The bumps don't hurt (at all) or itch. There is no rash or redness around them. They are faintly red, already starting to fade back into my skin after two days. Two bumps have dry skin around them. They are not blisters. It's possible that they are the product of razor burn plus chafed skin from wearing new panties.

I know no one but a doctor can answer my fear that this may be an initial herpes outbreak (I've been panicking for two days), but it seems almost too uninteresting (no pain, no blisters, no sores) to be something so serious.

I feel like this has never happened before, but I only noticed by chance when my finger bumped against one of the bumps and I pulled out a mirror, which I never do, so it's possible the only thing out of the ordinary is that I noticed.

Thanks for any input you can provide.

So I been meaning to ask this, I've been getting my BC pills for free that past few times. I'm not used to it cause it used to be 5 bucks. I'm just wondering if anything has changed or what? Anybody else get theirs with no charge? Mine is Loryna, if anyone else takes it.

I'm not really complaining I'm just wondering.

Silly question hahaha, but just because something is free it would work as good as the expensive stuff right? I don't know if mine is generic or not. I thought it was for Yaz but I don't think so.

Edit:I did just look it up and of course I saw a horror/bad story. Weird, that I don't really have problems with it. No mood changes or anything.

When I was sixteen I had an abortion after being assaulted at a party by a classmate. I couldn't afford to pay for an abortion as I had no money and laws at this time in my country required parents to be informed. So I order stomach ulcer pills off the internet (cytotec), which cause the uterus to contract and expel the fetus. I'm now 23.

Ever since then I have had really irregular and painful periods. I can't afford to go to a gynocologist as I have no health insurance but I presume I have some sort of infection which has lead to this. I have been to family planning and am negative for all STDs.

My question is... i really want to have kids some day. Im really worried I wont be able to (my pastor told me I was going straight to hell and would never be able to have kids coz of what I have done. I stopped going to church). I understand abortion, done properly does not affect fertility. But mine was not done properly. Any advice

Hi all,

I was on ortho tri cyclen lo for 3 months when I got my period a week early (during the last week of active pills). I switched to ortho tri cyclen because I didn't think the lo version was strong enough. Tri cylcen worked well for 3 months but now, on my 4th month, I have spotting 4 days before my period and I believe it's going to turn into a period because I have major cramping. I don't know what to do because tri cyclen isn't a low dose pill... it's a normal dose. I don't know why it's not strong enough for me?? My periods were always regular on their own so I didn't think it would be a problem trying to regulate them. I've read that monophasic pills are better for breakthrough bleeding because there's no fluctuation in the hormone levels, however I always get early bleeding in the last week of pills, and ortho tri cylcen and ortho cyclen (the monophasic version) have the same dosage of hormones in the last week so I don't know if that would do anything.

I'm 145lbs and 6'1" tall. I don't know if that has anything to do with it? I really, really don't want to have to go on a high dose pill with like 0.5mg of estrogen because I am TERRIFIED of getting blood clots :| please help me!

I recently got a nexplanon birth control implanted. I'll be on my next usual period cycle on the 17th. I'm curious about how other people's periods have gone after getting this form of BC. I've heard that I may not even have a period and I've heard it could be light and last weeks. I'm nervous about it and just want to hear more about other experiences. Thank you!!

Here's the problem! )

I had discharge after my period ended (last Tuesday). It was thin slimy stuff. I'd pee and see it once when I cleaned myself up. It would happen once or twice a day. A few times, it kind of looked light brown - kind of. Like a orange-y color. I guess. Sunday(yesterday  Apr. 7th)  there was just a thin small rope that was light, light brown -ish.  The most I saw from the discharge was Saturday afternoon, where I kept cleaning myself up and saw discharge. But I don't believe it looked cottage cheese-like.  I never smelled the discharge. I haven't had discharge since after Sunday morning. On Sunday evening, I felt hot almost all over, including my vagina. Kinda feels like burning. But I also feel hot in other places than my vagina. Like I'll feel under my boobs and they feel hot. Other parts of my body feel hot/warm. No itching. I'm not sexually active. I'm on Triprivifem.

I called my doctor's office this morning. They said it sounded like my discharge was normal.
