Starting HBC for the first time

lyndz.livejournal.comYesterday my doctor gave me a prescription for Lo Loestrin Fe. This is my first time ever on the pill. He also gave me a sample for 2 months. Being that it's Thanksgiving and I haven't send my prescription into a pharmacy, I don't really have anybody to ask for help, so here I am!
The directions that came with the pills said that I should take the first pill in the first row on the first day of my period. My period ended two days ago. Does this mean that I should wait until the first day of my period to start taking the pill? If not, do I start at the beginning or start a different row?
