Ok, I know this is going to sound like the most ridiculous question, but I need to ask someone as I've got some weirdness going on.

I had my period from April 9th to April 12th. It was on time, usual length and slightly heavier than normal. My husband and I had sex on the 14th, but I'm pretty positive there were no accidents. This week, one of my breasts has been a bit sore and both of them are incredibly veiny which is unusual for me. However, I want to believe it is because of a lump I found around my period in the sore breast which is where most of the pain seems to be radiating from (I'd be more concerned, but I think it's an enlarged lymph node, to be honest, as there is a similar yet smaller lump in pretty much the same place on the other side and ice seems to help with the pain and swelling. I'm keeping a watch on it, though.). Plus, I'm pretty sure that I ovulated this weekend as I felt a bit crampy then, and that usually signals ovulation for me and I was having a lot of the usual ovulation discharge.

So, unless my period wasn't a period which seems highly unlikely, I'd have to have conceived a little over a week ago and while I figure it is unlikely I could experience anything THAT soon, I thought I might ask as the crazy veiny breasts is just so unusual for me, and I know that can be an early pregnancy symptom. Plus, considering it would be WAY too early for a pregnancy test, I wouldn't even know for another few weeks.

Are there any other causes for really veiny breasts? All my Google-fu keeps bringing up pregnancy and I just find it so unlikely. I won't rule it out because, well, I am sexually active and stuff happens, but I would imagine there could be some other cause for it. Could it be connected to the pain and possible lymph node issue? I figure if the pain and swelling doesn't subside in a few days, I'll head to the doctor to check it out.

Basically, it's just an all around weird situation and any thoughts or advice would be helpful! Thanks a lot! :)

Hello, everyone!

I have a breast health question that I haven't been able to find an answer to by searching on my own, so I'm hoping you wonderful VPers can help.

I have a small white bump I found about a week ago, right in the center of my nipple. It looks very much like a pimple come to head. Does anyone know what this could be?

If it were on my areola, I would just assume that it's a plugged-up sebaceous gland, but it's right in the center of my actual nipple. It's not painful, other than where I've prodded at it a bit too much in the name of investigation.

Most of the info I've found online for similar problems is about milk blisters. It almost sounds like that's what it is, but, I'm not breastfeeding!

I am not currently pregnant, I have no children, and I've never breastfed. I'm 27 years old with no family history of breast cancer.

Any insights would be much appreciated!

For the past week and a half I have been experiencing a bit of pain and discomfort when I masturbate. I only do so clitorally so I don't think it is an issue with my actual vagina and it's only when I am aroused. I am 21 years old and am a virgin and that isn't likely to change in the near or distant future. I would really like to not go to the gyno because my entrance is so tight that anything beyond the size of a finger would be excruciating. So should I be worried or is there a certain amount of time that I should allow it to go away before going to the doctor?

ETA: I should be starting my period soon so could this just be a symptom?

Hey guys, I've always lurked but never posted but I'm kind of freaking out now. So I had unprotected sex this past Saturday and he pulled out, but got a little bit of semen on the inside of my thigh. Deep down, I know there's a really small possibility that it could "swim" up my vagina. My period still hasn't come and it's about 5 days late now. My cycles are usually a bit longer and are around 35-37 days, but I'm on day 42 now =/. My boobs have been sore for a couple days now, which is usually a sign my period is coming, but it's still not here. I'm starting to stress out about it! I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came out negative, but could it be too soon to tell?

I would appreciate any advice or anything! It's all I can think about :(

so i'm just posting this for advice. :)

i don't know whether or not to change my pill. i am really scared about it. i have been on this pill, Cilest, since i was 13. i am now nearly 21. i went on it when i was 13 because i had really bad acne & heavy, painful periods. it was perfect for me, and when i started being sexually active, i just stuck with it. it only started being an inconvenience for me in the past 8 months or so.

my symptoms are:
- my periods are heavier, and getting very painful like when i was a teenager.
- my periods can be very irregular, whereas all the years before my period came like clock work. now, sometimes it does not even arrive during the 7 day pill break, or it comes towards the very end.
- i spot a lot during my cycle
- if i skip ONE pill, i start spotting. this was never, ever the case
- i get morning sickness and nausea a lot
- i feel like i have period pains pretty much the whole month, every month.

yeah, it's not pleasant. nothing has changed in the past 7-8 months that this has happened. i have no STD's, i'm not pregnant, and i have been with the same sexual partner for 4 years. i did ask the doctor about changing the last time i went but they told me they were really busy & to make another appointment next time. i guess because i've been on the pill for so long, and majority of these years i have been very happy with it, i'm really scared to make the change. also: could it be the pill that is making these changes, or is it something to do with my body? could it be because i have been on this pill for so long, or is that not possible?

there is no similar pill in the UK market, which also makes me scared to change.i am scared of it messing my periods up even more, bringing my acne back from when i was younger, weight gain... everything.

the one i'm taking is: CILEST: 35 oestrogen and 250 progesterone
and here is an example of another popular oral pill: mercilon oestrogen 20 micrograms, progesterone 150 micrograms

because there is not a pill with the similar amounts of hormones like cilest, this also makes me worry that my body will freak out. especially as most of them that i have been looking at contain LESS hormones than cilest, so would it even work?

i would appreciate any advice. thank you <3
