Hello everyone! I've had a couple arguments with my female friends about the HPV vaccine and I was wondering if y'all could help me out.

My boyfriend and I are both virgins, are going to stay that way until we're married, with plans to marry within a year or so. Seeing as how neither of us have genital warts I don't see a need for either of us to get the vaccine (I've heard it's been approved for men now). My girl friends all think I'm crazy because "Its a VACCINE for CANCER!" I just don't see the point of getting it if I'm going to marry and only have sex with one person, who has also never had sex.

So my question is, is there any real need for me to get it? I don't want go risk side effects for no reason.

(sorry, my computer is being stupid and not letting me tag this)

I feel like I saw something posted on here a long time ago about someone volunteering to have medical students practice pelvic exams on them so that the students could get real experience in the classroom rather than relying on molds and such. Whoever wrote about their experience spoke highly of it and said she was well compensated for her time. I was wondering if anyone else has done this, or has any information about it. Thanks!

I am just wondering if anyone knows or takes vitamins or supplements that help with period regularity? I am looking to start taking something to try and get my period on track, and am hoping to avoid HBC. I know there are supplements to help conception etc, but generally these are a good 2 - 3 times as expensive as normal vitamins.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

So I was looking for ways to delay my period for a week, and after searching online, the solution I found was to take norethindrone/norethisterone 3x a day 3 days before when my period is due (which is basically around today). I called my doctor and she said you can only control your period with birth control. I asked her about norethindrone and she said yes, it's birth control and prescribed it to me.

When I got the pill, I realize it was a combined pill (with .5 mg norethindrone and 0.035 mg ethinyl estradiol) and not the progestin-only pill I was reading about online. My question is, should I even bother trying this (and if so, I should only take it once per day, right?) If I start birth control right before my period is suppose to start, will that delay my period?

Thanks!
